These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Schemalyzer ("Service", "we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

Schemalyzer is a web-based service that analyzes EasyEDA schematic files using artificial intelligence. The Service provides:

• Automated parsing of EasyEDA JSON schematic files
• AI-powered analysis of circuit connections, component placement, and potential issues
• Generation of analysis reports including warnings, suggestions, and quality scores
• Export functionality for analysis results (PDF, Excel)
• Project organization and management features

2. Account Terms

2.1 Account Creation

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account

2.2 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise the Service security
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
• Use automated tools to access the Service without permission
• Share your account credentials with others
• Resell or redistribute the Service or analysis results without authorization
• Use the Service to analyze copyrighted schematics you don't have rights to

3. Subscription and Payment

3.1 Free Tier

The free tier includes 1 schematic analysis per month with a maximum of 40 components. Free tier limitations may change at our discretion with notice.

3.2 Paid Subscriptions

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected
• Payment is processed through Stripe
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• Price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance
• You are responsible for all charges incurred under your account

3.3 Refunds

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support within 14 days of purchase to request a refund. We reserve the right to deny refund requests for accounts that have used significant Service resources.

3.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until the end of the paid period.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Your Content

• You retain all ownership rights to schematics you upload
• You grant us a limited license to process and analyze your schematics solely to provide the Service
• You represent that you have the right to upload and analyze the schematics you submit
• We do not claim ownership of your schematic designs or intellectual property

4.2 Our Content

• The Service, including software, algorithms, and interface design, is our property
• AI-generated analysis results are provided to you for your use but remain subject to these Terms
• You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service
• Our trademarks, logos, and brand elements may not be used without permission

5. Limitation of Liability

5.1 No Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

5.2 Limitation of Damages

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in AI-generated analysis results
• Reliance on any analysis results provided by the Service
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Any other matter relating to the Service

5.3 Maximum Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100 USD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Schemalyzer and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney fees, arising out of or in any way connected with:

• Your access to or use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights
• Any damages caused by circuits or designs based on AI-generated analysis results

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points include:

• We collect and process data as described in our Privacy Policy
• Your schematic files are processed using third-party AI services
• We implement security measures but cannot guarantee absolute security
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and process schematics

8. Service Availability

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Service
• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time
• We may perform maintenance that temporarily restricts access
• We may impose usage limits or restrictions on certain features

9. Termination

9.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support or using account settings. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease.

9.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, including for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Extended periods of inactivity
• Non-payment of fees

9.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. We may delete your data within 30 days of termination. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

No waiver of any term of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term.

12.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
